Maarit Aura is a young, aspiring mezzo-soprano from Finland.Her repertoire is a mixture of baroque, the classical period, Italian bel canto opera and French romantic opera. Apart from having performed several opera roles, she has given hundreds of lied concerts, and continuously extends her lied repertoire.
Maarit Aura recently completed her voice diploma with excellent grades and will receive her Master's degree in the fall of 2010.
Her career and studies have taken her throughout Europe, South-America, the Middle East and Africa.
